While on a sabbatical, Ex-banker and consultant Chirag identified with the challenges of rural school students. On a visit to a tribal school close to Udaipur, Rajasthan where his mother was a teacher, he observed that the school lacked basic necessities such as benches and desks, and school children would be hunching down as they went about their day, affecting their posture and health both. Moved by this, he decided to create a frugal solution that would resolve one of the challenges of the rural educational system. And, thus began the journey of YeloGreen in 2018.
